CASE STUDY BASED ON ADOLF HITLER

Adolf

Hitler grew up to become the chancellor of

germany

Hitler

may be the man that everybody loves to hate but

one cannot deny his skill as an orator.
was primarily hitlers speeches that aroused his
audiences and led to his meteoric rise to supremacy.

It

He

was a total ruler : a dictator who controlled every

part of the citizens lives

Hitler started his policy of anti-Semitism (hostility

against Jews)

Public Speaking
Hitler was a captivating public speaker. He would enrapture crowds with his
vision and sense of purpose of the nation.
Understanding Human Nature
Adolf Hitler understood human nature very well. He rallied the whole nation
behind him.
Constant Influence
Adolf Hitler successfully used propaganda to bring the whole nation under his
will. Through the constant use of media and communications, he managed to
cause a whole nation to think alike to serve his cause.
Confidence
He had a lot of confidence thinking that he could achieve his goals. Although
in the end his confidence was overturned, he did have it which is a good
characteristic of a leader.

His rigidity, due to his inability or refusal to change in

any significant way, was one feature of his life.

Hitlers unwillingness to change was the result of his

personal insecurity and anxiety

Hitler did not permit others to know his feelings and

desires and carefully guarded his private life. To maintain
his privacy, Hitler disciplined his life in a highly unnatural
way.

Contemporaries identified Hitlers lack of humor as

another personality trait.

Hitler maintained this humorless throughout his life. Although he

was capable of laughing, he seldom did so in public and certainly
never at himself

Hitler potrayed a trait of narcissism. A childs world of being aware

of no one or nothing except himself and his mental images. As he
grew older, Hitler refused to enter the adult world of compromise
and moderation.

Further examination of Hitlers personality reveals a man governed

by dualities. He saw everything in terms of extremes opposites.
People were either his followers or his enemies.

Other dualities inherent in Hitler were honestly and duplicity,

kindness and viciousness, charm and rage. He occasionally
portrayed himself as a man of complete honesty.
