Key duties/responsibilities for quality surveyor

1. Execute marine warranty survey (WMS) project work including load outs,
transportation and towage approvals
2. Inspection and approval of offshore structure se-fastening & towage
arrangement
3. Condition and Suitability surveys of various types of oceangoing and
marine vessels;
4. Carry out vessel & rig condition and pre-purchase inspections
5. Transportation and Tow Approval surveys;
6. Vessel On/Off Hire Surveys;
7. Surveys in which it is deemed that the Surveyor possesses the required
skill set for the operation.
8. Marine surveys for various ship types including tankers, bulk carriers,
offshore support vessels, MODUs and crane barges
9. Review deliverable documents pertaining to the assigned project or any
other which it is deemed the person is a competent source of critique.
10. Quality control of reports and deliverables generated by the Marine
department staff and consultants.

Key job qualifications for quality surveyor

1. Bachelors Degree from accredited university OR Technical Diploma with
10 years of work experience OR Must hold a Class 1 Master Mariner
(Unlimited) qualification or Chief Engineers License.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
3. Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word and Excel)
4. Strong interpersonal and client facing skills
5. Good command in English with report writing experience
6. Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
7. Technically and commercially astute
