Component Definition
Bearing is a component that serves to
reduce the angular friction between two
objects moving relative to each other that
the shaft with the axis of rotation and push
each other.

Conclusion
After comparing the three of materials,
so the suitable material that can be
used to make a bearing is a AISI
E52100 STEEL.

Question :
How can you get the safety factor is 5
?
Are you use the same material for all
part of bearing?

Answer :
I find this SF in my literature, so I cant
explain how SF comes. But in machine
element course we can get safety factor of
any part if we know sigma ultimate, sigma
yield, or taw ultimate, depends on what safety
theory do you use. In this case, I cant explain
how SF comes because there is no sigma
value or taw value.
According to my opinion, for bearing we use
same material because galvanic corrosion
will occurs if we use different material. We
can use a different material with a small
different number of volta series. So, this
material is hard to get galvanic corrosion.
