    The THETIS project aims to create an integrated data management and visualization system to support coastal zone management in the Mediterranean Sea. The system brings together heterogeneous scientific repositories and makes them accessible via the web. It uses Dienst for indexing, searching, and querying across files, images, documents, text, and simulation programs. Le Select provides data mediation and integration. The architecture includes a web client, web server, session manager, Dienst search engine, Le Select data integration engine, and data/metadata repositories. The system will be demonstrated through scenarios on waste management, fisheries, and extracting coastal data from satellite images.
