Intention
We discovered when looking through all of our
audience research, that they wanted to see a
clear link between the music video and the
ancillary texts. We then therefore believed it
would be a good idea to show a clear link through
all three pieces of media.
Effectiveness
The effectiveness of our music video and ancillary texts is
very important to the audience as it means they can relate to
them all as a whole. There is a very strong link between all
pieces of text which means that it is easy to market to an
audience.
The fact that a bright color scheme has been used means
that it will attract the attention of the audience more. The
picture on the album cover should be a direct clue as to what
the song is and therefore should sell that way, also the
characters create a good upbeat vibe so this should be
reflected through the color scheme.
Twitter and Facebook have been included on the advert as
little symbols this means that the song will get more hits
through these social media websites.
