INTRODUCTION
Canada was second largest country, only falling short
of Russia.
It is divided into large territories, similar to America
but much larger.
Native peoples of Canada came from Asia 1200 years
ago, 12 tribes made up the First Nations.
Canada was founded on July 1st 1867.
A land of vast distances and rich natural resources.

Canada became a self-governing dominion in 1867


while retaining ties to the British crown
Area total: 9,984,670 sq. km
land: 9,093,507 sq km
water: 891,163 sq km
Canada is spotted with several lakes and rivers, 7% of
the country is underwater.
Population is 34,030,589
Canada capital city is Ottawa in Otario.
Canada also aims to develop its diverse energy
resources while maintaining its commitment to the
environment

CULTURE
It includes two separate people at cultures that
eventually joined together into one country.
French and English settlers each took claims to parts
of Canada.
The uniqueness of the demographics of the people of
Canada makes for a country full of different cultures.
In Canada each area is different and holds its own
traditions, language and people.

POLITICAL OUTLINE
Executive Power Queen Elizabeth II is the Head of
State. She appoints the Governor General of the
country for 5 years.
The Governor General appoints the Prime Minister as
well as the Ministry (however, this is chosen by the
Prime Minister).
The Prime Minister is the head of the government. He
holds the executive power.

ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT
Canada is a rich country with a very good living
standard, it now has to deal with a worrying growth
of its unemployment rate, which was estimated at 8
% in 2010.
Accounting for almost two thirds of the GDP, the
service sector dominates the Canadian economy. Its
most dynamic areas are: telecommunications,
tourism, Internet (almost 65% of Canadian
households regularly use the Internet) and the
aeronautical industry.

After declining due to global recession, Canada's
GDP has rebounded with growth estimated at over
3% in 2010 due to the stimulus package, the
recovery of foreign trade and the newfound
confidence of Canadian households.
Canada has 6 strong sectors of primary industry:
renewable energies (mainly wind), forestry sector,
hydrogen and fuel cells, mines, metals and
minerals, fishing, oil and gas. The manufacturing
sector represents approximately a third of the GDP.

EXPORT AND IMPORT


Canada is the 10th largest exporter and 12th largest importer in the world.
Agricultural products, crude oil, chemicals, electricity,
durable consumer goods, machineries.
Total value of exports(2010): US$406.8 billion
Primary exports partners: US (75.02 percent), UK (3.37
percent), China (3.09 percent)
Primary imports partners(2010): US (51.1 percent),
China (10.88 percent), Mexico (4.56 percent)

CONCLUSION
Thus, by analyzing the various environment
we can conclude that Canada has a strong
cultural, legal & economical background and
also have an excellent trade relations with the
nation round the globe.
