RAINWATER HARVESTING
Rainwater harvesting technologies are simple to install and
operate. Local people can be easily trained to implement
such technologies, and construction materials are also
readily available. Rainwater harvesting is convenient in the
sense that it provides water at the point of consumption, and
family members have full control of their own systems, which
greatly reduces operation and maintenance problems.
UTILITY
CONCEPT
STORMWATER HARVESTING
STORM WATER HARVESTING IS A PROCESS OF GETTING
WATER FROM THE RIVER THAT IS TREATED TO BE USED
IN THE ARTIFICIAL SURFING FACILITY. WATER PUMPING
SYSTEM IS USED FOR THE PROCESS. THIS PROCESS IS
A CRADLE TO CRADLE METHOD WHERE IN
THERE IS A CONTINUOUS CYCLE OF WATER FOR LONG
TERM POSITIVE EFFECTS IN THE ENVIRONMENT.
WATER DESALINATION
Water Utility
Desalination is a process where saline water is treated to be suitable for drinking.
This will lessen the consumption of fresh water extracted in the area. Since studies shows that
the total global fresh water is only 2% and most of the percentage of fresh water can be found
on glaciers and ice caps, there is a need for consideration on preserving fresh water. This
project
proposed to use saline water and solar distillation treatment to be used in the whole facility.
Design Program
Problem Diagnosis
Camarines Sur
The problem calls for a design of a resort hotel environment that aims
to provide lodging, recreation, and ecotourism spot in Camarines Sur.
The commercial facility is geared towards becoming a
sustainable development that will provide additional jobs for Camarines
Sur locals while providing good service for the tourists of the province.
