Issues-Spectrum
Sufficient Spectrum for GSM not
available from WPC.
Maximum 8 MHz in select LSAs (in
select cities), 6.2 MHz in all the
LSAs.
Not possible to expand existing BTS
sites beyond 6/6/6 configuration.
Inter BTS distances in big cities
already at optimum level.
3G spectrum not yet allocated.
CHALLENGES OF CELLULAR
EXPANSION PROJECT
TOWARDS NO.1
Implementation of 63.5 M project
would make CellOne and ExCell a
formidable combination and would
sure to rule the industry.
Would make BSNL network truly
world class with no match possible
from the most state-of-art operator
of today.
THANK YOU
.
