NDT Group Creation

Logic:
* Specified no.of joints are grouped into single lot as per NDT requirement for
each piping spec(e.g for 5% NDT, 20 joints are made into one group).
Input for NDT requirement:
* For each Weld Test Specification NDT requirements for BW, BR and SW are
updated in eALPS+.
* For example see below snap shot of eALPS+ for PE16 Piping spec

NDT Joint Selection

* After creation of groups ,a joint from EACH group shall be picked for NDT offering
* Prior to joint selection the following things shall be ensured
o Welder coverage in each NDT scope %

shall be monitored for required % coverage , it

can be done by using welders rejection rate report.

Tracer(Penalty) Weld Selection for

rejected joints
Need to select two joints for each welder for each rejected joints as penalty .
Two joints shall be selected from the same lot.
If tracer welds are already been selected for repaired joint, the Joint ID wouldnt
available in drop down.

* Without NDT offer/testing acceptance report ,the group can not be passed
and released for further activity (Erection planning)
