COMPANY

INTRODUCTION
TheLa-Gajjargroup was founded in 1935, by the
LateLaljibhai Jivram Gajjar(1917 1972), a visionary
and industrialist par excellence manufacturing a unique
product known as Hand Blower one of the first of its
kind in the country.
It is now known under the brand name of Varuna.
In 1981, the new enterpriseLa-Gajjar Machineries (P)
Limitedbrought in bore-well and open-well submersibles
into the manufacturing line. The real differential edge
actually came to the Company in 1992 whenShri
Udayan Gajjar, now Managing Director, conceptualised
the use of Oil-filled Submersible Motors and introduced
the first Oil-filled Submersible motor in the country.

Planning of production is very important for the
organisation. Without production planning the
schedule of the department may be ambiguous.
Controlling is also necessary for successful
management. With the help of this timely
production is possible and also control over the
production process.

as per the order and planning sheets.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge Enrichment: By meeting and
discussion with the executives of company lead
to enrichment of knowledge.
Level of Confidence: During the project, I need
to stand in front of such higher authorities of the
company which help to increase confidence.
Planning: I learned how much a planning is
important for a company.
Communication Skills: Through discussion with
different people from different departments
helped in increasing my communication skills.

CONCLUSION
After completion of the project I realized that
how necessary is the production planning
important for any manufacturing company. If
proper planning is not done then there is an
unnecessary investment in the production of the
products. The quality and quantity of the product
is equally important to satisfy customers needs.
