PRODUCTION PROCESS

1. GRADING
We purchase logs from14cmto36cmtop
diameter and lengths of2.4, 3.0, 3.6and4.2m.
These logs are purchased keeping in mind
the quality standards.
Logs are pre-sorted into top diameter
classes, using a combination of mechanical and
electronic equipment, before input to the
sawmill.

2. DEBARKING
1. The logs collected are forwarded to the next
phase i.e. to be bark free.
2. Our debarking line strips the bark away from
the log prior to sawing.
3. The bark is not wasted as it is an important
raw material for horticultural and landscaping
markets.

3. SAWING
After debarking these logs are sent for sawing,
meaning these are cut into long and flat pieces.
At the sawmill, the logs are cut into boards using
equipment such as circular saws and bandsaws. This is
called conversion.

4. SORTING

Timber is separated according to thickness and width.

At this stage the product is processed differently
depending whether the final product will be produced as
unseasoned (green) or dry.

5. CUTTING AND
FINISHING
A6 blademultiple cross cut machine
enables us to offer finished lengths
from800mmup to4.2m, into pack sizes that
are generally standard but which can be set
to customers' particular requirements.

6. DESIGNING
The final and vital part of our production process is
designing.
Here in this process the processed timber is finally
transformed into windows, doors, doorframes, almirahs,
etc.

FINISHED GOODS
The finished
goods includes
doorframes,
doors,
windows.
The wood after
refining is also
supplied as a
finished product.
