Work done by:
Washington, D.C. has been the capital of the United States since 1800. Eight other cities have
served as the meeting place for Congress and are there fore considered to have once been the
capital of the United States. In addition, each of the 50 U.S. states and several territories of the
United States maintains its own capital.
• Canada, second largest country in size, is politically divided into
ten provinces, which enjoy considerable autonomy, and three
areas, all north of the country, suffering more action by the
central government. The capital of Canada is Ottawa, located in
Ontario, but that is not the capital of the province.
• Pakistan (Urdu), officially the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is a country in South Asia.
Located at the crossroads of South Asia, Central Asia and the Middle East , the country
bordered by Afghanistan and Iran in the west to northeast China and India to the east.
besides being bathed by the Arabian Sea to the south coast with a 1 046 km long.
Pakistan is the sixth country in the world population and has one of the largest Muslim
populations in the world. It was part of British India and has a long history of
settlement and civilization including the civilization of the Indus Valley. The region was
invaded by Greeks, Persians, Arabs, Afghans, Turks and Mongols. It was incorporated
into British India in the nineteenth century. Since its independence, the country has
been characterized by periods of military and economic growth interspersed with
political instability.
• Canberra: the Austrian capital
Canberra is a place of unique style, where the modern architecture of a planned
city is the lush nature of the interior of Australia. The city is just 3 hours drive from
Sydney and less than 7 hours from Melbourne in the state of New South Wales and
has a population of 320,000 inhabitants. Canberra is considered a cultural
destination with a great variety of restaurants, bars, Winegrowing, shops, galleries,
theaters, museums and monuments.
• New Zealand (English in New Zealand, Aotearoa in Maori) is an island country
in the southwest Pacific Ocean consisting of two major land masses
(commonly called the North Island and South Island) and numerous smaller
islands, the most noted the Stewart and Chatham Islands. The name of the
indigenous Maori for New Zealand is Aotearoa, often translated as "The Land
of the Long White Cloud." The Fields of New Zealand also includes the Cook
Islands and Niue (a self-governing but in free association), Tokelau, and the
Ross Dependency ('s territorial claim in Antarctica New Zealand).
• In South Africa, officially the Republic of South Africa, is a country located at the southern tip of
Africa, with 2,798 kilometers of litoralsobre the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The country shares its
borders with Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe to the north, Mozambique and Swaziland to the
east, and Lesotho, an enclave entirely surrounded by South African territory.
Modern humans live in the Southern Africa for more than 100,000 years. At the time of contact
with Europeans, indigenous peoples were the dominant tribes that migrated from other parts of
Africa there are about a thousand years before European settlement. Between the fourth and fifth
centuries, Bantu-speaking tribes came to the south, where displaced, conquered and assimilated
the indigenous peoples of Southern Africa. At the time of European settlement, the two largest
groups were the Zulu and Xhosa people.
• Dublin ou Dublim (in English Dublin, in Irish Baile Átha Cliath) is the capital
and the greates city of the Republic of Ireland.
. It has got 505,739 thousands inhabitantsin the centre of the city but it has na
overall of1,661,185 inhabitants . It was founded by the vikings in 1170.

• India, officially the Republic of India, is a country in South Asia. It is the


seventh largest country by geographical area, the second most populous
country and largest democracy in the world. Bounded to the south by the
Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea to the west and the Bay of Bengal to the east,
India has a coastline of 7517 kilometers. The country is bordered by Pakistan
to the west, the People's Republic of China, Nepal and Bhutan in the north
and Bangladesh and Myanmar to the east. India is in the vicinity of Sri Lanka,
Maldives, Indonesia and the Indian Ocean.
