Tawazun ( )Balanced

Introduction
Tawazun is one of the Islam characteristic which
discriminate it from other religions
Tawazun is a natural process
Everything in this world exist based on the balance law
which is created by Allah SWT : men and women, day
and night, moon and sun
Tawazun means : balanced KEEPING THE BALANCE IN
ALL ASPECTS OF OUR LIFE

Can You imagine, What would

happen??
If the sun did not come?
If there was no women
Balance is natural law in our life :
See the sun isnt closer or further to our world so we dont
burn or freeze and there is life.There would be no life if
there was no balance in the solar system.
Human can survive because in his body every organ
operates systematically balanced

Concept of balance in Qoran

QS 67: 3 [And] who created seven heavens in layers.
You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any
inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do
you see any breaks?
QS 55: 9 And establish weight in justice and do not
make deficient the balance

ISLAM is a balanced religion

Islam keeps the balance between two opposite ends. Many religions
focus too much on morality and spirituality at the expense of practical
aspects (law), or focus too much on law and not too much on
spirituality, while others give a believer only the choice between being
a wretched sinner or a saint
Seek instead, by means of what God has granted thee, [the good of] the life to come, without
forgetting, withal, thine own [rightful] share in this world; and do good [unto others] as God has
done good unto thee; and seek not to spread corruption on earth: for, verily, God does not love the
spreaders of corruption! (28:77)

How to apply tawazun in our life

As we have known, Allah SWT has given human three
potencies. Those are Al-Jasad (physical body), Al-Aql
(reason) dan Ar-Ruh (soul)
These three potencies are integrated and they require
their own need/food

What is about our Al-Aql: [3:190]
Aql (reason) funtions :
To facilitate human in recognizing something whether bad or
good
To assist human in building their civilization/culture (ex: the
invention of clothes, the invention of computer, etc)
To facilitate human to perform their duty as khalifah in this
world

whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah .

Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured.

And thus we have made you a

just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a
witness over you. And We did not make the qiblah which you used to face except that We
might make evident who would follow the Messenger from who would turn back on his
heels. And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided. And never would
Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful.

Atheist : too much rely on their aql
Materialist : concern only on visible things (materials)
Pantheist : care merely on their soul.

Tips to live tawazun

Understand what your responsibilities and
priorities are
Scheduled your day accordingly
Take a balanced approach to different aspects of
your life
power, persistence, consistency and patience
