What is a profession?
occupation which requires special knowledge and skills,
usually obtained through a formal education process,
and which provides service to the community (McDermid,
2008, p.278)

Who is a professional?
provides a services in exchange for payment in
accordance with established protocols for licensing,
ethics, procedures, standards of service and
