Assessment
To pass in this class, each student needs to
complete all assessment processes consisting
of the followings:
Participation in every classroom activity/discussion
(=10%); Peers feedbacks may be requested!
Class attendance at least 80%/ no more than 4 time
absence (=5%)
[Academic] Written assignment (=10%)**
Mid-term test (=25%)
Final test (=50%); It can be a sit-in test or other
written tasks depending on the results of the third
task above (**)

Classroom activities

Classroom activities would mostly

comprise class/group discussion,
presentation, individual tasks, etc.
Assessment on your participation would
be based on your active involvement
during these activities.

Classroom Rules
All students should comply with classroom rules:

All students/teacher need to come to class on time

unless for late comers with acceptable reasons
Students/teacher come late to the class would be
tolerated as long as it does not exceed 15 minutes
from schedule time; but repeating one more times
would be equal to one times absence.
Students/teacher come to the class more than 15
minute late would be ignored; (Students are still
allowed to join the class but their attendance will not
be counted); Participation assessment would still
apply.
Students need to remember their absent numbers
instead of their names

Attendance Rules and Final

result/grade
Despite just 5% worth, your attendance in the class will give impacts on
your final results:

All students are legible to have grade A

Students who attend all classes would possibly receive A or at least C
Students who miss 1 times class (and/or 1 sick & 1 excuse) are still
legible to get A, but would also possibly fail depending on class
performance
Students who miss 2 times classes (and/or 2 sick & 1 excuse) are only
legible to get B, but would also possibly fail depending on class
performance
Students who miss 3-4 times classes (and/or 2 sick & 1 excuse) are
only legible to get C, but would also possibly fail depending on class
performance
Students who miss more than 4 times classes (and/or 2 sick & 1
excuse) would only receive fail results.

** There might be fortnightly reports available for you for your potential
results!
