• Each cycle begins with Moses going to
Pharaoh early in the morning
• The second phase in each cycle involves
going to Pharaoh, and greater severity
• The third phase in each cycle involves
no warning
The Building of a Godly Leader
• A godly leader learns who the Savior
really is, not him, but God. c.f. Exodus
2:11-15
• A godly leader learns that he must
obediently do what God tells him to
do. c.f. Exodus Ch.3-7
Moses’ Objections
1. Who Am I that I should go? Ex. 3:11
2. What is your name, that I may tell people
who sent me? Ex. 3:13
3. How would the people believe that you have

The Plague’s Dispensing

How Are Plagues Stopped?
• Intercessor who makes atonement for
people’s sins. Numbers 16:47-50
• A Courageous Warrior who deals violently
with sin. Numbers 25:7-9
• Faith in God’s chosen means. Numbers
21:6-9; John 3:14-21
Coram Deo – Before The Face Of
God
• By Faith, turn to the real Savior
• Get serious about obedience in light of
God’s promises
• Take the time to think about what you
really want as individuals and as a
church.
• Meditate on the promise that we shall see
the Salvation of the Lord!
Communion.
• We have Communion weekly, because
we have church weekly (1Cor. 16:2,
11:18; Acts 2:42; Rev. 1:10).
• We take Communion with solemnity and
joy because our Savior died for us (c.f.
1Cor 15:1ff It is of “first importance”)
• We apply the sermon text to the weekly
Communion, so we do not interpret it apart
from Gospel lenses. Read Heb. 3:1-6
