WHAT IS KCJP
• Kutawato Council for Justice and Peace
Inc. is a non-government human rights
service institution that extends services and
contributes to the efforts of empowerment and
conflict resolution among the tri-people in
Mindanao.
VISION
A society wherein justice prevails
and genuine peace is realized
and experienced by the tri-people
(Indigenous peoples, Moro and
Christian Settlers).
MISSION
To contribute in the process of
achieving justice and genuine
peace through the
empowerment of the tri-
people.
GOALS
• To establish a Justice and Peace Center truly
responsive to the needs and aspirations of the tri-
people
• To continue in the efforts at the grassroots level
for the realization of the people’s agenda
• To uphold and promote the fundamental rights of
the people with due recognition to women’s rights
towards full and active participation in nation
building.
• To support in the effort for the preservation of the
environment for a balanced ecosystem.

• Established in 1978
• Non-stock non- profit ,non government
organization (NGO)
• Founded by the religious sector of
Cotabato City
OBJECTIVES
• General Objectives
• Assist and/or contribute to the overall efforts in conflict
resolution and forging smooth relationship of the tri-
people through the strengthening of Justice and
Peace work.
• Help protect and promote the tri-people’s fundamental
rights as human beings in achieving justice and
genuine peace through the conduct of education and
provision of technical and other assistance.

o Relief Distribution
o Delivery of relief goods to IDPs who were not reached by
the usual releif operations of various govt. agencies and
Civil society organizations.

and sisters by Christians and

Total number of mosque served is
12 with actual distribution reaching
more than 3,000 individuals
•Pabuka ng Bayan

- Highlight the culmination of the month-long celebration of


the Ramadhan
- On the night prior to the celebration of Eid’l Fit’r, a
chosen mosque was made the venue of the celebration
- After taraweeh, pastil of rice topping wrapped in banana
leaves are served to the mosque-goers.
- Total served individual reached almost a thousand.
