TYPES OF WINDING
Therearetwotypesofwinding
1.Spindledrive:Wherethespindleuponwhichthe
packageisplacedisdrivendirectly.
(a) Constantspeedwinder
(b) Variablespeedwinder

2.Frictiondrive:wherethespindleuponwhichthe
packageisplacedisfreetorotateandpackageis
driventhroughfrictionbycontactwithadriven
drum.

Drum:

Wastesuctionpipe:
Duringyarncuttingandsplicingitsucksthewaste
yarn.

Bobbinplate:
Thefunctionofplateistorotatethebobbinsone
byone.
Bobbinholder:
Itisadisktypewheel,itsfunctionsistoholdthe
filledbobbinsforunwindingprocess.

Waxmotor:
Itsfunctionistorunwaxbushcontinuously.

Waxbush:
Toprovidesmoothsurfacetoyarnwaxisapplied
especiallytotheyarnintendedforknitting,the
functionofwaxbushistoapplywaxtoyarntomake
itshairssticky.

Suctionmouth:
Wheneveryarnbreaksduring
windingthepackagemovein
oppositedirectionwithslow
speedduringthattimeitsucks
thebrokenyarnendfromthe
packageandtakeitforsplicing.

Retiepipe:
Ittaketheyarnendfrombobbintowardsplicing
mechanism.

Splicer:
Thesplicingmechanismperforms
theknotfreejoiningofthetwoyarn
endsafteryarnbreakage.
Nowadaysairsplicingisused.

Dustremovalunit:
Itcollectsthedustandfiberfly.

Travelingcleaner:
Itmovesfromoneendtoanother
endofmachinetoremoveand
suckthedust,flyandother
contaminantparticlesand
keepswindingunitclean.
