Aerospace and Defense
The UKs aerospace and defense industries are key players in their world
markets, and are major contributors to the UK economy, through both
manufacturing and research into new technologies. The aerospace sector is
the second largest in the world, employing over 150,000 people and exporting
around 60% of its output, and in 2000 it had a turnover 18.25bn, and was
responsible for 12% of the UKs manufacturing research spending.

Aerospace and Defense
The UKs aerospace and defense industries are key players in their world
markets, and are major contributors to the UK economy, through both
manufacturing and research into new technologies. The aerospace sector is
the second largest in the world, employing over 150,000 people and exporting
around 60% of its output, and in 2000 it had a turnover 18.25bn, and was
responsible for 12% of the UKs manufacturing research spending.

In order to provide an adequate classification of a domain it is mandatory
first of all to obtain a comprehensive definition of the domain. Here one
encounters the first problem: there is no universally accepted definition of the
hospitality industry. As Ronald Nykiel points out, for any business that has
experienced rapid development, a concise definition is virtually impossible
(Nykiel 1989:2).

Task 3a_Answer
In order to provide an adequate classification of a domain it is mandatory

mungkin bisa merumuskan definisi secara singkat dan tepat mengenai

best to search for the most appropriate definitions in textbooks for university students,
as these usually provide the most concise and comprehensive explanations. For example,
R. Nykiel, the author of Marketing in the Hospitality Industry, suggests the following
definition: the hospitality industry deals with products and services offered to the
consumer away from home. (ibid). The following figure represents the structure of the
domain according to this source.
