WHY THE 3-3-5 DEFENSE?

It is an 8 man front vs an I pro set


It is considered unorthodox by offensive coaches
Easy to align to spread formations
Ability to get into multiple looks easily
Allows smaller, faster athletes to be successful
Easy to overload perimeter of offensive formations
Teams have less time to prepare for nonconventional defensive alignment
Physical, aggressive, attacking style of play
creates negative yardage plays and turnovers
Easy to attack the pass protection weaknesses
