PSE calculates minimum virtual requirements for
virtualization of the PlantPAx System servers and
workstations
1. Sizing shown in System Properties and reports
2. User selects whether workstations are to be
virtualized (or just servers)
3. Virtual sizing requirements tunable from System
Preferences

Enhanced assignment of I/O to Intelligent Motor Controls

OVERVIEW
Simplified workflow to map I/O configuration to
Intelligent Motor Control Devices:
1. Enter in the number of IMC devices by type and
see the I/O count that is decremented from total
2. Change specific IMC devices by location
HW Defaults allow you to exclude IMC from BOM.
System Preferences allows you to tune I/O mapping
by device.

Supervisory network aligned with controller
2. Added checkbox to include Stratix 5700 on I/O
network for an I/O location

OVERVIEW
1. New systems include AppServ-Info element for
Historian by default
2. New systems include AppServ-AssetMgt with
Disaster Recovery by default
3. Added information messages when the licensed
tag count of FT Historian or licensed assets of
FactoryTalk AssetCentre dont match up with
PSE calculated values

BENEFITS
Default system is closer to typical system
configuration so that there is less steps to configure.
