In this class, we will work hard on four
things:

One of the ways we will do this is by

practicing writing perfect sentences, using
the new vocabulary and the grammar we
are working on.

There are several sections to our grammar
book:
Present Tense
Past Tense
Future Tense & Future Time
Perfect Tense
For each section, you will be given

notecards on which to write your sentences.
The notecards will be color coordinated.
You will write 1 sentence on each side of the
cards 2 sentences per card.

About each week, you will write your
perfect sentences using the correct
grammatical structure and using a
new vocabulary word.
In class, we will check our cards to
make sure the grammar and spelling
are correct.
You will then use these cards to help
you study.

Long Island, and Staten Island. Most people think of
Manhattan when they think of New York City. This is
because Manhattan has the tall buildings that New
York is famous for. Sometimes people travel from
Staten Island to Manhattan by boat. However, most
people in New York do not use boats to go from one
part of the city to another. Large bridges connect
the islands. Trains and cars also use long tunnels

First we do a speed write
