- Remove the template and draw another line parallel to the requested 7.6mm
from the previous one.

- Install tape for marking.

- Position and Clamp the stiffener extension against the horizontal stiffener flange.
- Mark the position of pre-drill pilot holes of the extension.

Shim

-If Shim Required, install & adjust it onto the stiffener extension.
- Use double sided tape to hold the shim.
-Transfert drill the stiffener pilot hole into the shim.

-Re-install the stiffener(with shim) in position, Clamp against the existing stiffener flange &
install a screw pin through the first drilled hole in the rib web.

- Transfer Drill remaining Pilot Holes from extension into existing stiffener and rib web

- Remaining pilot holes at vertical stiffener level, will have to be drilled from the other side, by
measuring the 10mm (min) edge margin.
