In the year 2010-11 the business growth in FO segment was the maximum in Index Options with highest
number of contracts 650638557 and turnover of 18365365.76 in crores.
It is followed by stock futures with 186041459 number of contracts with turnover of 5495756.72 Rs. In
crores .
It is followed by Index Future with 165023653 number of contracts with turnover of Rs. 4356754.53 in
crores .
The lowest number of contracts is in stock options with 32508393 with turnover of Rs. 1030344.21 in
crores .
In the year 2011-12 the business growth in FO segment was the maximum in Index Options with highest
number of contracts 864017736 and turnover of 22720031.64 Rs. in crores.
It is followed by stock futures with 158344617 number of contracts with turnover of Rs. 4074670.73 in
crores .
It is followed by Index Future with 146188740 number of contracts with turnover of Rs. 3577998.41 in
crores .
The lowest number of contracts is in stock options with 36494371 and turnover of Rs. 977031.13 in crores .

In the year 2012-13 the business growth in FO segment was the maximum in Index Options with highest number
of contracts 820877149 and turnover of 22781574.14 Rs. in crores.
It is followed by stock futures with 147711691 number of contracts with turnover of Rs. 4223872.02 crores .
It is followed by Index Future with 96100385 number of contracts with turnover of 2527130.76 Rs. In crores .
The lowest number of contracts is in stock options with 66778193 with turnover of Rs. 2000427.29 in crores .

In the year 2013-14 the business growth in FO segment was the maximum in Index Options with highest number
of contracts 928565175 and turnover of 27767341.25 Rs. in crores.
It is followed by stock futures with 170414186 number of contracts with turnover of Rs. 4949281.72 in crores .
It is followed by Index Future with 105252983 number of contracts with turnover of Rs. 3083103.23 in crores .
The lowest number of contracts is in stock options with 80174431 with turnover of Rs. 2409488.61 in crores.

In the year 2014-15 the business growth in FO segment was the maximum in Index Options with highest number
of contracts 1378642863 and turnover of 3992266.48 Rs. in crores.
It is followed by stock futures with 237604741 number of contracts with turnover of 8291766.27 in crores .
It is followed by Index Future with 129303044 number of contracts with turnover of Rs. 4107215.2 in crores .
The lowest number of contracts is in stock options with 91479209 with turnover of Rs. 3282552.18 in crores .

Conclusion
we can study that Index Options are traded on a higher level . In each year
business growth in FO segments Index Options are the highest in number of
contracts also turnover .
For Index Futures the trend started with a downfall in both number of contracts
and turnover . But after 2012-13 the trend showed a positive growth in both number
of contracts and turnover. Also they both are still growing in a positive way .
For Stock Futures the number of contracts showed a falling start but after 2012-13
a positive growth was reported . But in case of turnover it showed a positive growth
but a severe downfall in 2012-13 with a slow growth till now .
For stock Options both number of contracts and turnover showed a positive
growth trend . Also they are still growing till date .
