PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS


Phileas Fogg and Jean Passepartout had encountered several
problems during their journey around the world in 80 days.
As Phileas Fogg were determined to complete the journey, Phileas
Fogg and his butler, Jean Passepartout did a few things in order to
overcome the problems.
Here are a few problems that they had encountered.

meet for the first time on the train.
They are heading to Calcutta.

The workers explain to them that the

find other ways to go to Calcutta.

suggests that they ride on an
elephant to continue their journey.

When they arrive at Calcutta station,

PHILEAS PAYS FOR THE BAIL TO RELEASE PASSEPARTOUT
HE SPENDS 2000 POUNDS FOR THE BAIL

PIT STOP 3

Phileas Fogg tries to find a ship to


Liverpool. He soon finds Henrietta.

He meets the captain of the ship, Captain


Speedy. He does not want to take any
passenger. However, when Phileas Fogg

Suddenly one of the crew explains that they
