The State shall protect and promote the right to


health of the people and instill health
consciousness among them.

The Chemical Engineer shall be MINDFUL of


the safety and convenience of the public
AT ALL TIMES and shall MAKE EVERY
EFFORT to remedy or bring to the
attention of his client or employer any
dangerous defect in equipmentor
structuresor dangerous conditions of
operation which come to his knowledge.

Furnish his workers a place of employment free


from hazardous conditions that are causing or
are likely to cause death, illness or physical harm
to his workers;

Every worker shall cooperate with the employer


in carrying out the provisions of this Standards.
He shall report to his supervisor any work hazard
that may be discovered in his workplace.

Give complete job safety instructions to all his


workers, especially to those entering the job for
the first time, including those relating to the
familiarization with their work environment,
hazards to which the workers are exposed to and
steps taken in case of emergency;

Every worker shall make proper use of all


safeguards and safety devices furnished in
accordance with the provisions of this Standards
for his protection and that of others, and shall
follow all instructions given by the employer in
compliance with the provisions of the Labor Code
Standards.

Comply with the requirements of the Labor Code


Standards; and

Use only approved devices and equipment in his


workplace.

Good housekeeping shall be maintained at all


times through cleanliness of building, yards,
machines, equipment, regular waste disposal, and
orderly arrangement of processes, operations,
storage and filing of materials.

Section 23. Suspension or Revocation of Certificate of


Registration and Certificate of Compliance. Any of the
following shall be sufficient ground for the suspension or revocation
of a Certificate of Registration:
(a)Any act of misrepresentation in connection with an alleged
performance of chemical engineering devices;
(b) Acts inimical to the chemical engineering profession; and
(c) Gross immorality or commission of any act involving moral
turpitude.
