ABSTRACT
This is a presentation in precise-spectrum in which I try to
explain my four month experience in my hosting company.
The content is briefly explained and it is constructed from the
practical basis.
In the beginning I give a short info of our company. And
explained briefly about our project on which we are working on
with its site plans.
After that, I have explained my overall training familiarity in
the last successive months. This is main part of the training
report what I have been doing and what was happening on the
site.

INTRODUCTION OF COMPANY
Amit Buildwell Private Limited is a Private Company
incorporated on 14 October 2005. It is classified as Indian
Non-Government Company and is registered at Registrar of
Companies, Delhi.
Directors of Amit Buildwell Private Limited are Anil Kumar,
Ramesh Kumar Yadav and Anil Kumar Yadav.
The company has successfully executed the works for the
construction of commercial and residential complexes.

BRICKWORK
a) The bricks shall be locally available kiln
burnt bricks of generally regular and
uniform size, shape & colour. The
bricks shall be free from cracks, chips,
flaws, lumps. They shall be tested as per
IS standers.
b) The size of brick shall normally 230 mm
x 110 mm x 76 mm.
c) The bricks should be thoroughly soaked
in clear water . It helps to remove dirt,
dust and other soluble salts which causes
efflorescence.
d) After that, they are laid with the paste of
cement mortar in English bond pattern.
e) Proper curing should be done.

In our project, we had mostly used brickwork


but in few towers Blockwork is also there.

PLASTER

Plaster is a building material used for coating walls and


ceilings.
Plaster is manufactured as a dry powder and is mixed with
water to form a paste when used.
The brown coat is considered a dressing coat to help level the
wall to good alignment.
The scratch coat should be the thickness of the three coats. If
water quantity is controlled, one can lay on a half-inch of
scratch coat successfully.
Curing shell be done adequately that provides strength and
other attributes to plaster.
Various kinds of plaster generally available are:

Gypsum plaster (Plaster of Paris).


Lime plaster
Cement plaster
Heat resistant plaster

INSTALLATION STEPS OF DOOR

Door linings come in kits which contain three main pieces :


The head
Two legs or jambs.
The head goes at the top of the door, and the legs run down
the sides. Begin by holding the legs up to the studs on the
wall, and marking the height of the door on the linings.
Measure the thickness of the head, and deduct that from
the required length of the linings.
Hold the horizontal lining up to the top of the door, and
mark the required length of that lining.
Confirm your measurements, then cut the linings
Assemble and square the door lining.
Insert the lining Into the wall.
Secure it with screw
Test it with spirit level, adjust if necessary.

WINDOWS

A window is an opening in a wall, door, roof or vehicle that


allows the passage of light and, if not closed or sealed, air
and sound.

INSTALLATION STEPS OF WINDOW

Space are left empty for installation of


window
Fixing frame on solid brick construction.
Install the panel into the opening.
Take care that head, sill and jamb are not
bended during installation.
Side of stile cut for the installation of
handles
Rubber seals were placed at bottom and
top for wither tightness and protection of
glass.
Leave at least 10mm gap between sill brick
and frame to allow for possible future
building settlement.
After the completion of work, Windows are
finally washed with chemical.

FLOORING
The flooring used are Wooden Flooring over IPS and Tiles

Placing of tiles

The bed is to cleaned first, it should be free from dust, paint,


grease, oil etc.
The bed is washed, and left is for drying completely before
placing tiles.
Once mixing is completed use this to make a bedding of 20 to
30 mm thick.
Then the tiles are placed in position, alignment must be proper.

Kitchen and Bathroom

Flooring is done as soon as plastering has completed.


The size of tiles applied was of 300mm by 300mm
Anti-skid Tiles were used.
Placing procedure is same.

PAINT AND DISTEMPER


Painting is the practice of applying paint, pigment, colour or
other medium to a surface
External wall: 3 base coats are provided:
Primer
Texture
Distemper
Internal Walls: 2 coats are provided:
Putty 2 coats of JK wall putty.
OBD 2 coats of Burger color oil bound distemper.

Polishing is done at the time of finishing works
