Appeal to audience:
• My Audience/Class said It appeals to the
audience bass on the topic because it being
about higher education.
• I used inspiring Interviews who gave good full
answers and explained it clearly, and also used
young people to feature in the documentary.
• They said I would need to include more girls in
my documentary weather it is and interview or a
Vox-Pop
USP/Place In Market:

• It is good for the BBC because it is about

education and education is one of the
BBC’s ethos.
• Its unique because it has a range of
different people
Conventions:
• It is conventional because it has a
presenter asking question in a interview.
• It had voice over's to put all the
documentary together so it makes sense.
• Use of good music which makes it appeal
and convectional for the audience to
watch.
Use of Technology:
• I used good pace in my documentary
which made it interesting to watch instead
of boring. I done this my making my Vox-
Pops considerably shorter and cutting
down on my interviews
Improvements:
• Need more girls to feature in my documentary to
make it more female appealing for example use
a female for an interview.
• I Should of made the Graphics more clear
because it came out to blurry. So next time I
would make it smaller.
• According to my audience the voice over were
too loud.
• I needed to improve my camera framing in the
last interview which I never filmed as I was
asking the questions.
Appeal to audience:
• It had a range of Vox-Pops including both
male and female, and also two different
opinions so its not biased.
• The people I spoke to covered both sides
of the argument and talked about relevant
issues that appeal to the audience
because it is something that will affect
them in the future.
USP/Place In Market:
• Its got a place in the market for the BBC
because it is to do with higher education
and education is one of the BBC Ethos.
• It is unique because its got a range of
people and not only people who left
education and become successful.
Conventions:
• Its Convectional because I used voice
over’s which worked well and which bring
the whole documentary together.
• The music levels was all good and stayed
at the same level throughout so it didn’t
sound bad.
• The Presenter voice over worked well
rather than having a on screen presenter.
Use Of Technology:
• Good Framed interviews especially the first
interview with Mr Priest. Also good framed Vox-
pops used the talking space well.
• The Graphics worked well together but not used
to the best because I didn’t explain it properly
and could of used it in better places to make it
flow more.
• Also sound was good and had no problems.
• Improvements:
• Need more background on the interview to make
it relevant because it was just answer questions
with out backing up the point.
• Have someone with more expert skills in the
area of leaving education.
• Also I should have asked the year most affected
by this for example yr 7, 8, and 9
• The interview was too far away with Syed Abbas
• And I used to much achieve footage when the
achieve footage could have been shot myself.
Appeal To Audience:
• I thought I had a good range of people and a mix
ethnicities in my Vox-Pops which makes it
appeal to a wider audience.
• It also appeals because I used a the correct age
range in my documentary.
• Not only that, I think the whole topic as a whole
would appeal to the audience because there at
that stage where they need advice and help
making a decision on there future.
USP/Place In Market:
• I believe it has got a place in the market
for BBC 3 because it is to do with
education which is to do with the BBC’s
Ethos.
• It is Unique because it is young people
talking about leaving education instead of
adults talking about it and giving there
opinion.
Convections:
• I believe my Voice over was used well to
introduce what it is about.
• I also think the music volume where controlled
well when increasing and decreasing the sound
level, and it was appropriate to the documentary.
• Using a presenter voice over I thought worked
well rather than a on screen presenter.
Use Of Technology:
• The graphics where good but not used
well because I could of introduced it better
and put it in a better place.
• The sound worked well and never
overlapped another voice and It as clear
throughout
Improvements:
• I should have Include more girls to make it
more appeal to females.
• Have more younger people who it will
affect.
• Use less achieve footage and film it myself
instead.
• Use more shot types and better camera
framing on the last interview.
