Arsenal Football Club began life in the


South-East London in 1886

Arsenal Football Club began life in the South-East London suburbs


of Woolwich and Plumstead when a group of predominantly Scottish
workers at the Woolwich Arsenal Armament Factory decided to form
the Dial Square football team in late 1886.
