and the abiotic components
Types of ecosystem

called biome.
Biomes are broadly classified into 5 types:
Aquatic biome
Desert biome
Forest biome
Tundra biome
Grasslands
Pollution
Pollution is discharge of substance into our
environment in a manner in which the
natural environmental balance is destroyed
Types
of
pollution
or diminished
Air
pollution
Water pollution
Soil pollution
Air pollution
Contamination of air due to from the exhaust of vehicles, smoke from a factory chimney, fly ash
from thermal plants or natural phenomenon like volcanic erruption is known as air pollution
Water pollution
water pollution occurs when water is
adversely affected due to the addition
of large
extraneous
in
Sources amount
of water pollution:-sewage
and material
domestic waste,
agricultural waste, industrial
watereffluents, mining wastes
How to reduce water pollution
Soil pollution
NOx : 30%
X = 1 or 2
ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS
1.Vegetation
Wash away essential nutrients ions from soil
Poor growth of plants
2.Aquatic
Inflow of acidic water containing poisonous metal ions
Kill the fish and water plants
3. Building
Acid rain attacks the building materials and causes
corrosion.
Global warming
An increase in the concentration of
greenhouse gases leads to an increase in
the magnitude of the greenhouse
effect. (Called enhanced greenhouse
effect)
This results in global warming
