Annual Academic Flow(Grade 8th &

9th )
For

Grade 8th and 9th CBSE syllabus(NCERT Book and Work Book
Designed by Meccademia Faculties) will be finished tentatively by mid June
for SA-1 portions and that will be followed by revision of SA-1 portion from
Xam-idea and 100 NOT OUT books given by MECCA.

Grade 8th and 9th will not be having any Summer Vacation classes but
there will be few revision classes during July and August and those who are
not planning for any vacation can come for these OPTIONAL REVISION
CLASSES.
In the month of September students will resume with the revision classes
and they will be writing Full Length Mock Tests also in the Extra session.
First week of October tentatively students will be starting SA-2 portion
which will get over by mid December.

Full Length Mock Tests for SA-2 portion and will also continue
revision classes.
Session will get over by 31st January 2017 and Faculties will be
going for vacation in the month of Feb/March.
During that time also 1 set of faculty will be here for any Doubts
class/additional help.

in August month.
After finishing CBSE syllabus(mid November) they will start

Class room Procedures

All the students must adhere to the class timing. Students
coming late to the class will not be allowed inside.
All the students must carry the following books.
NCERT Text Book
Xamidea/100 Not Out
Meccademia work book.

Meccademia will provide two note books in the beginning of the

year(Same way after this they have to purchase books).
Each note book should be divided in two parts. First half for the
class work and second half for the home work.

Class room Procedures

In the beginning of the class, faculty will be checking the home work
given in the previous class that will be followed by the discussion of the
DOUBTS in the home work given.
Home work is compulsory for all the students and those who are not
doing home work properly will face some serious action.(As it is directly
related to performance also.)
Students has to carry water bottle as it is not allowed to go outside in
between the class. Only with facultys permission the student will be
allowed to go outside the class room.
During the class, Students are advised to put their phone on silent
mode only. In case of any emergency parents can call to the Center
managers to give any message.

Class room Procedures

Misuse/Abuse of the MECCADEMIA property is strictly prohibited.
e.g. Writing on table/wall, using the marker, destroying AC remotes,
leaving food items inside the table etc. The CCTV cameras are
installed in all classrooms and monitored for the same.
All the students in Meccademia should wear respectable cloths.
As per the UAE government regulations girls and boys should sit
in the different rows in classroom as well as transport services.
Students availing the transport must reach down to bus within 10
minutes of classes getting over.

Mecca Testing and Evaluation System

Tests will be conducted every week(Weekly Test) in the cyclic
order of P/C/M/B.
One week in advance syllabus will be given to the students
Concerned faculty will provide the result with in 10 days to
the students.
Student have to file up all the answer sheet along with the
question paper(Subject wise)
The questions where the student lost mark/marks has to
attempt again and get that corrected with the concerned
Faculty.

Mecca Feedback & PTM

The results are sent back to the parent and student along
with the following details:
Childs score
Average score of the class
Highest score of the class
Solution to the test paper for students to identify the mistakes

Students/Parents can meet the respective faculties from 2:00

PM to 4:00 PM and 8:45 PM to 9:30 PM about the progress of
the child only after taking the appointment.
While meeting faculty, always carry the folder containing the
corrected answer sheets of previous exams.

Cover up methodology
At Meccademia, COVER-UP of missed classes is provided for
students missing classes due to genuine reason(Not feeling well,
School competition etc)
Cover up classes will be provided only after giving the valid
reasons and student have to request about their cover up in the
cover up register kept at the front desk.
After writing about their cover up concern faculty will allot the
slot as per his availability and it will be intimated to the students
through mail/phone/SMS.
Cover up classes timing tentatively will be in the week days only
before 4:30 PM or after 8:45 PM
