What is an aim?
A clear idea of the purpose of the training intervention is vital at this
stage as it guides you to the content, pace and level of learning of
the session you are delivering.
This may be a broad overview of what you wish the delegates to
demonstrate by the end of the event.

What is an objective?
Once an overall aim has been established the training intervention
needs to be broken down into manageable chunks. These are referred
to as objectives
An objective is a written statement in precise and unambiguous terms of
what the learner will be able to do as a result of the training.
