Project Description
The new Edenia Distribution Center in Campia Turzii
is a state of the art logistic complex designed to
serve the most demanding operational requirements
in the frozen food business.
The building is named Edenia Distribution Center,
Edenia being one of the most important frozen food
brands owned by Macromex.
Description
The first temperature controlled high bay warehouse in Romania

Operation temperature : -24C main, and +2-4C for chilled area
Oxygen reduction system for fire protection

Construction Highlights
cutting edge technologies incorporated in an innovative design
refrigeration based on a two stage ammonia system with
screw compressors fitted with frequency converters for start-up
and variable speeds
the system is provided with heat recovery for use in frost
protection
the racking to the High Bay Warehouse acts as the structural
support of the building
high quality insulated panels (Kingspan) designed for an air
tightness of 0.02 1/h (air flow rate: n50)

available resources in real time
Each carrier company must book a time slot for
unloading
This gives our partners an easier way to plan their
transport resources more efficient and allows us not to
have peaks in our inbound areas in the warehouses
