CREATION OF MAN

OVER 1400 YEARS AGO:

IN THE QURAN: SURAH ALMUMINUN

12. And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay.

13. Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging.

14. Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and

We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from]
the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then
We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah,
the best of creators.
[Al-Quran Al-Muminun (The Believers): 12-14]

THE STAGES OF PRENATAL

DEVELOPMENT ACCORDING TO THE
QURAN
o A nutfah (sperm drop) is placed in Qararin Makeen (firm lodging place).
o Nutfah turns into an Alaqa (clinging clot).
o Alaqa turns into a Mudgha (chewed lump-like flesh).
o Out of Mudgha, Idham (bones) are made
o Dressing the Idham with Lahm (flesh)
o Nasha (developing) of Khalqan Akhar (another creation)

STAGE 1: A NUTFAH (SPERM) IS PLACED

IN QARARIN MAKEEN (A SAFE LODGING)
Science Proves today:
Human beings are produced
from a mixture of secretions
from the male and the female.
Several references are made
to the creation of a human
being from asperm drop,
and it is also suggested that the
resulting organism settles in the
woman like a seed, six days after
its fertilization.

STAGE 2: NUTFAH TURNS INTO AL- ALQA

(LEECH-LIKE CLOT)

Today by comparing the fresh

water leech to the
embryo at the alaqa stage, we
find a great
similarity

STAGE 3: AL MUDGHA (CHEWEDLIKE LUMP OF FLESH)

The embryo is transformed from
the stage ofAlaqato the
beginning of the stage
ofMudghaon the 24thday to the
26thday.
On the 28thday the embryo is
formed of several bulges,
withgroovesin between, thus
giving the embryo the image of a
chewed gum.

MUDGHAH
The stage ofMudghastarts with
the growth and increase of cells in
a large number.
TheMudghalooks like a piece of
meat which has no distinguished
structure.

STAGE 4: OUT OF MUDGHA

(CHEWED LIKE LUMP OF FLESH)
IDHAM (BONES) ARE MADE
During the 6thweek, the cartilaginous skeleton starts to spread in the
body.
Human features appear at the beginning of the 7thweek , where the
shape of the embryo takes the look of the skeleton.
Transformation from themudghaform to the beginning of the skeleton
form occurs in a very short period of time at the end of the 6thweek and
the beginning of the 7thweek.
