BACKGROUND OF STUDY

Writing English is difficult for the EFL (Gibbons,


2002) .
The teacher feedback is necessary to be an
effective strategy to solve students writing
problems (Muncie, 2001)

CONTINUE

Based on my preliminary study showed that


some students are still confused in revising their
writing based on teachers feedback. Even the
teacher has been used the written feedback for 3
years. (May, 20th 2015. Personal interview)

RESEARCH QUESTIONS

What kinds of written feedback used by the


teachers of SMAN 11 Banda Aceh in students
writing?
What are students perceptions in second grade of
SMAN 11 Banda Aceh about teachers written
feedbacks?

RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this study are;

As reference for further research


It can be appropriate technique for teaching
writing
It can make teachers more creative and aware to
improve their teaching style in learning process.

The perspective of students toward feedback that
