Tax documents needed (two forms of I.D.)
Background check completed
Parking pass (depending at location and if needed)
Drug screening and pass completed
Employee Packet completed (signed)

Get any documents and information ready
Let other employees know about the new employee
Get new employees work area set
Get an assistant or someone to help get ready

The FIRST day


Welcome and introduce the employee to coworkers
Give them a tour of the workplace and their work area
Finish and complete all paper work
Schedule the new employee an HR orientation
Help them with any questions they might have and try
to make yourself available that day to that employee

After the First Day


Check up on the new employees training
Give them information about on-going training after
their initial training (optional)

Week two Week four


Make a review for the first week
Document things that need to be improved
Help with concerns or questions
Make sure to complete Luna Webs Orientation
Checklist and turn it in to HR
Go over goals during this time

Go over questions, suggestions or concerns

The orientation gives information to new employees to
give them a good start
These orientations have a direct impact on future
productivity, performance and job satisfaction
Just remember, you play a KEY ROLE in the success of
the orientation process
