THE WATERER
Water must be available all the time
whenever the pigs needs them. So
establish a water system where the pigs
can take a drink anytime of the day. This

Homemade NF Feeds

We cut down the use of commercial feed by as

much as sixty percent (60%) But feed is not just

simply made from material lying around. That is why
commercial feed is incorporated during the early
stage (0-50 days old) up to thirty percent.
The point of NF feed is to convert waste into
resources. Piglets used to eating green grass
become strong, so that means less money for feed.
Pigs fed with a lot of fiber mature early. Gilt can
have offspring in only six (6) months after birth. But
the first pregnancy of gilts should be neither too
early nor late. They should not reach 100-150 kilo
before pregnancy.

Procedure:
Mix 5 liters to 10 kilo rice bran then add 20 / 30 / 40
to evenly distribute the liquid then add 1 kilo of salt.
Until you completely mix 100 kilo of rice bran to the
mixture. Take a handful when you squeeze, it
should not ball.
Put the mixture inside a plastic container with
cover. Set aside for the second mixture.

What is the white molds in

feeds?

The most important thing is to maintain

mixture in the anaerobic state. If white

molds appears on top of the feed dont worry,
they are useful actinomyces, filamentous
bacteria and yeast. Its a selected microorganism such as lactic acid bacteria, yeast,
photosynthetic bacteria and actinomyces.
Disregard feed mixture or used it as fertilizers
when molds appear to be green to black color.
