(ii)The mean and standard deviation of set of 10 values were calculated
as 16 and 5 respectively it was discovered later on that two of the
values were recorded as 8 an12 while the correct values were 3 and
21 respectively . Rectify the error and compute the correct value of
mean and standard deviation.

wages are Rs.6300 and Rs. 900Respectively. For a group of 40 female workers, these
are Rs.5400 and Rs.600 respectively. Find the standard deviation of monthly wages

(iii)A doctor wished to know the effects of 2 medicines in lowering the blood sugar levels,
as well as spikes in the sugar levels. 2 diabetic patients were given 2 different
medicines and advised to measure the daily fasting sugars continuously for 3 months.
