INTRODUCTION
Writing is the most difficult skill to
master for foreign language learners.
Inquiry-based learning is a learning process
through questions generated from the
interests,
curiosities,
and
perspectives/experiences of the learner.

opportunities to actively develop skills that enable


them to locate, gather, analyze critique and apply
information in a wide range of contexts as they

Inquiry-based learning is a learning process through

c) Inquiry Based Learning allows students to
develop a more flexible approach to their
studies.
d) Working within and communicating to a
group are vital for a students employability.
e) Self-directed learning not only develops key
skills for postgraduate study, but also leads
to original thought that contributes to larger
research projects, papers and publications.

The inquiry process involves the following steps, they
are:

a) Observe a process or event.


b) Formulate
questions

observations.
c) Develop a workable hypothesis.
d) Devise a strategy for testing it.
e) Analyze and draw conclusions
collected data.
f) Communicate findings to others.
