About INC
The Investment & Networking Club (INC) was founded in 2008 and is the leading
investment-focused student club within the Singapore Institute of Management
(SIM).
INC seeks to promote financial literacy among SIM students and youth in Singapore
through sound education and experiential learning.
INC seeks to establish and maintain long-term partnerships with financial institutions
and other societies dedicated to advancing financial knowledge in Singapore.
Together with the investment clubs of NUS, NTU, and SMU, INC is part of the
Securities Investors Association, Singapore (SIAS) Youth Chapter.

The Corporate Communications Departmental function revolves around
liaising with external partners, building on existing relationships and
fostering new partnerships. You will participate in extending the outreach
of the club through sourcing for appointments with keynote speakers for
events. You will be supporting the clubs administration of external
correspondence. Being placed at the front foot of
externalcorrespondence, your role is asignificant and crucial role in the
development of the club's work-plan and events to come.
Requirements
Outspoken and business-savvy
Excellent presentation, interpersonal & communication skills
Strong command of English
Willing to meet and network with new people
Prior working experience in a corporate setting highly recommended
Events
The Events Departmental role involves organising of major school and
nationwide financial events to increase the financial awareness of youth
and students alike. You will be liaising with both external event partners
and within the different INC Departments. You will contribute in
portraying INCs professional image through high quality events.
Successful applicants have the opportunity to support their directors in
the initiation, planning and implementation of new ideas and
propositions through club events. You will need to be active in learning
about how external financial events are run and thereafter, share any
knowledge and experience gained with the club

Human Resource
As the first point of contact between incoming members and the club, you will
manage the recruitment and orientation of INC Members, Committee and election
of Executive Committee. You will need to assist the Executive Committee in
developing fresh strategies for recruitment and promotional activities through the
term. You will be organising club cohesion events, taking care of the welfare of
committee members and organising activities and programmes to improve the
welfare benefits for the members. You are also required to support the Training &
Development of INC Committee members, Corporate Social Responsibility
programmes and manage the clubs overall logistics. Successful candidates will
have the opportunity to learn more about career, people and personal
development.

Marketing
Your main task is to develop strategic marketing materials to promote
the club and manage the clubs marketing channels. You will be
managing the clubs Facebook page and website, and exploring the
viability of other marketing platforms. Our team aims to further promote
the INC brand name on these platforms to increase our club and events
reach to both current and prospective members. Marketing for all INCorganised events and competitions comes under our departments
charge. You will be working as a group to design and develop marketing
materials and marketing strategy.
Requirements
Creative, resourceful and proactive
Good communication skills
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Photoshop) and IT skills are an
advantage

Journalism
You will partake as a writer for Super Markets, a wholly owned financial
magazine and
be part of the team in our collaboration with other financial institutions.
The main
tasks you will be involved in includes writing articles, interviews with
professionals,
and conducting research. We will also continue to reach out to industry
players to
form partnerships based on either/both, but not limited to advertorials
(hence
bringing funds to expand our operations) and/or corporate visits,
internship
opportunities, event invites and interviews. You will be at the forefront of
the finance
industry as you gain first contact with the traders, bankers and CEOs.
