Challenges
Composting
Segregation: Organic waste should be 100% devoid of
inorganic material
Major challenge: to maintain the aerobic nature of
composting - gets progressively difficult due to leaching
liquid & size reduction in the composting material.
Hinders free passage of air thereby reducing aerobic
composting & create anaerobic condition.
It is well known fact that anaerobic condition create stench,
leach liquid and pathogenic microbes.
Solution: with Pelrich Composorb in Carbon Neutral
ways.
First the solid and liquid waste is sandwiched between
spongy Pelrich Composorb that can absorb moisture.
Pelrich Composorb also adsorbs stench and obnoxious
gases and provides free passage of air through the matrix
for maintaining aerobic condition through out composting.
Waste disintegrates into uniform particles along with
Pelrich Composorb into healthy nutrient rich6 organic

liquid).
2. Add 1 inch layer of Pelrich Composorb over the waste such that the waste is
completely covered. (obnoxious gas produced during composting is
absorbed by Pelrich Composorb.)
3. Close the vessel with a lid with enough holes permitting the air to pass
through freely through the composting vessel.
4. Continue steps 1-3 daily. The vessel will get filled up by 15-20 days. Repeat
with the second vessel as 1-7. By the 30th-45th day, the first vessel would
have completed composting. The first vessel may be emptied into a bag to
obtain Planting media.
5. The product derived in step 7 is a soil less planting media which can be used
(instead of Pelrich Composorb) for one more cycle of composting as
explained in steps 2-6. Continue steps 1-3 daily. The vessel will get filled up
by 15-20 days. Repeat with the second vessel as 1-7. By the 30th-45th day,
the first vessel would have completed composting. The first vessel may be
emptied into a bag to obtain Planting media.
5. The product derived in step 7 is a soil less planting media which can be used
(instead of Pelrich Composorb) for one more cycle of composting as
explained in steps 2-6.
6. The compost derived by using planting media however
cannot be used further as it would have lost its capacity for
ACCUA. This however can now be used for Organic farming.
7. Thus 20L kit of Pelrich Composorb and the planting media
generated from that will provide composting materials for 4
