profession?

Profession
Jobs that have important social functions.

Has characteristics such as skills, intellect,


adequate professional training, service is
needed by society, has code of ethics and its
own organization to manage matters related
to the profession.

A job that requires learning, efficiency and a


high level of skills as well as special training.

Standards in the profession are determined by


the organization.

Every member of the profession has to adhere


to the standards and code of ethics in the
profession to maintain quality of the services.

In short, a profession must have the


following;

Needed by society
Has autonomy in decision
making

Represented by an organization
