New reports can be created


from:
Web Intelligence Application
Existing report
If the report already exists can
be modified from the existing
report, saving the applied
changes in a different location.
That different location could
be at any folder where the
user has writing rights or their
personal folder.

From the panel Home, we only


need to click on the selected
Icon and new window will
appear waiting for any actions.

Clicking on new, the tool will ask for any data sources, as we
already did it during the Reports Development Training.

Selecting SAP Hana as new data


source, a new panel will appear,
where the desired Calculation view
can be selected

Once the view is selected, doing drag and drop the objects will be
added to the query panel in order to build the requested query

When the
query is
ready,
clicking on
run query, the
data will
appear in the
report and
the new
report can
start to be
customized.

Modifying existing reports


Existing reports

The requested report could be copied and pasted into the personal
folder and apply the necessary changes from there.
Another option could be open the existing report and click on save
and new window will ask for the new location
That new location could be:
Personal Folder
Public Folder with granted Add objects rights.
Once the report have been copied, all the changes applied will be
saved it at the new folder.
Note: If any changes are requested in the shared reports, this should be
communicated to IT Department.
