Creating personal reports
Clicking on new, the tool will ask for any data sources, as we
already did it during the Reports Development Training.
Once the view is selected, doing drag and drop the objects will be
added to the query panel in order to build the requested query
When the
query is
ready,
clicking on
run query, the
data will
appear in the
report and
the new
report can
start to be
customized.
SAP BusinessObjects Administration Training
The requested report could be copied and pasted into the personal
folder and apply the necessary changes from there.
Another option could be open the existing report and click on save
and new window will ask for the new location
That new location could be:
Personal Folder
Public Folder with granted Add objects rights.
Once the report have been copied, all the changes applied will be
saved it at the new folder.
Note: If any changes are requested in the shared reports, this should be
communicated to IT Department.
