THE COLLEGE
Krishna Institute of Engineering and
Technology (an ISO 9001 - 2000
Certified
institute) located in
Ghaziabad, is one of the premier
Engineering Institutes of the Uttar
Pradesh Technical University (UPTU,
now GBTU). Founded in 1998, the
college has been bagging several
laurels like the GBTUs Star Performer Award for the year 2007
and also Academic Excellence Award 2008 & 2009. KIET also
became UPTUs First & only college to have been accredited as an
A Grade Institute by NAAC in 2009. A Technology
Business
Incubator (TBI) has been established in our college by The National
Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB)
of the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. The Mechanical
Engineering Department of the college is very well equipped and has
excellent and experienced faculty.

COLLEGIATE CLUB
SAE-KIET Collegiate Club is one of the foremost technical societies of
our Institute registered under the Society for Automotive
Engineers India. Since its inception in 2008, its members have been participating in various SAE INDIA
and SAE INTERNATIONAL events & have been bringing success to the institution every year. The student and
the faculty members also regularly conduct various competitions like automobile quizzes, seminars, CAD
software training courses, etc. Various workshops are also organized for students to inculcate real engineering
skills and their participation in large numbers is encouraged. Visits to industries and AUTO EXPO are also
organized by the club.

THE TEAMS & THE VEHICLES

Our teams , The IMMORTALS , The INVINCIBLES and The
INCREDIBLES, have the brightest minds of our college
working on BAJA,SUPRA and on EFFI-CYCLE respectively.
The teams have grown from being a group of engineering
students to a strong conglomerate of automotive minds, raring
to take on challenges. They have been working rigorously on
designing and fabricating of ATV, FORMULA student car
and Effi-Cycle. They have been through many ups and down
and have come a long way since their inception. What havent
changed is their passion for automobiles and their insatiable
thirst for knowledge that is beyond their textbooks.
