ERP Vision Statement :
To integrate all business processes of Midas safety throughout the group for
ease in reporting to the top management and to have real time information
regarding financial and manufacturing systems.

During the acquisition phase demos were taken from following vendors to select the ERP
that suits their business functionality :

Generic or Vertical ERP :
Midas Safety preferred a Generic ERP solution so that a wide range of functionality can be
availed as per company needs.
Consultant Group :
IBM Group was selected for SAP Implementation in organization, because of brand name and
the expertise of the consultants and the experience of implementing the ERP system.

IT Professionals with in-depth knowledge of company portfolio and business

Legacy Application:
It was immediately discontinued to test the PRD with the daily operational
activities. End Users were highlighting the issues to make the system more
easy.
ERP Difficulties
During UAT and EUT, we faced the difficulties and maintain the log so that IBM
consultant debug.

The mandatory support from consultants were taken for a period of 1 Year after the
implementation phase of ERP.
Maintenance Support :
Initially a group of internal consultants were used for supporting in the maintenance
activity of ERP
in case of any complex issue
outsource consultants were also
consulted to ensure smooth operation.
ERP Up gradation :
The group is deciding to upgrade its current ERP to meet the demands of competitive
market.
ERP Satisfaction :
EVOLUTION PHASE:
The Company has Evolved its ERP by implementing SAP BI, BO, CRM, Ariba,
planning tool, Success Factor (Performance System).
Also, the data base server is upgraded to SAP HANA (4.0)
