According to Royal Institute of The Deaf, there are
several things to communicate effectively with the
deaf :
1. Using lipreading and avoid talking while standing
back to light
2. Do not shout
3. Speak clearly, keep the rhythm of the sound
4. Give time to the patient to understand what we do
5. Keep hands or other objects from our faces
6. Write important things that need to be considered

2. speak directly to the patient, not through
the caregiver and companion
3. grab attention and eye contact to the
patient if necessary
4. keep the tone of voice, speak slowly and
do not scream
5. repeat sentences and write if necessary
