United States of America. He was elected president
and later inaugurated into office on January 20,
2009. He is the first black president of this
country. Mr. Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on
the warm summer day of August 4, 1961. His
mothers name is Ann and his fathers name was
Barack, Sr. He went to college at Columbia
University and Harvard. Before he became
president, Mr. Obama worked as a community
organizer, statesman, and politician. He is married to
Mrs. Michelle Obama and together they have two
daughters, Malia Ann and Natasha. The Obamas have
a family dog named Bo. Mr. Obama likes playing
basketball and golf, watching baseball on television,
reading Harry Potter books with his daughters, and
posting videos to his own YouTube channel.
