Adjective clause

Adjective clause:The sentence which consist of two clauses that


are
related by relative pronoun.
The relative pronoun of the clauses are:
1.Who or that ,is used for people as subject of relative
pronoun.
*The girl is sitting under the tree.She is a new student.
*The girl who(that) is sitting under the tree is a new student.
2.Which,is used to talk about things as subject/object of relative
clause.
*The novel is good.The novel is writen by Aghata Christie.
*The novel which is writen by Aghata Christie is good.
3.Where, used to talk about place.
*Thi is the place .we meet here for the first time.
*This is the place where we meet for the first time.

4.Whom,is use for people as object of relative clause.


*The man is our neighbour.You talk to him yesteday.
*The man whom You talk to yesteday is our neighbour.

5.Whose ,is to talk about possesion.


*This is the boy.His bike was lost.
*This is the boy whose bike was lost.
6.When,is used to talk about time.
*This is the day.I have to go to Surabaya.
*Thi is the day When I have to go to Surabaya.
