The Purposes of Academic track

This

track prepares
students who plan
to pursue college
education
and
comprises
four
strands.

The Purposes of Academic track

An

enhanced curriculum will

decongest academic workload,
giving students more time to
master competencies and for cocurricular
activities
and
community involvement, thus,
allowing for a more holistic
development.

Expected Outcomes
Those

who go through the

12-year program will get
an elementary diploma (6
years), a junior high school
diploma(4 years), and a
senior high school

Expected Outcomes
Graduates

will possess
competencies and skills
relevant to the job
market. They will attain
Certificate of Proficiency,
Certificate of Competency
or National Certification in

Expected Outcomes
The potential annual earnings of a
Kto12 graduate will be higher compared
to the earnings of a 10-year high school
graduate.
Graduates

will be recognized abroad.

Kto12 will contribute to economic
growth &
provides a sound
foundation for long-term socioeconomic development.

strand focuses on learning the basic

concepts of business and learning associated
skills in other related fields like finance,
management, corporate and operations.
The ABM Track is for those who plan on taking
up Economics, Business Administration,
Accountancy and Marketing in college.

one is for students who are eyeing Writing

(particularly,
novelists),
Political
Science,
Sociology, Priesthood, Law and Community
Studies.
This strand helps you to build a solid liberal arts
foundation, detailed exploration of the theoretical
aspects of your field and hands-on professional
experience. This strengthens your logical reasoning
and critical thinking which are needed skills once you
go to college.

strand focuses on equipping you with the

knowledge and skills to solve tough problems, evaluate
evidence, and make sense of the available information
in creating innovative solutions through invention and
discovery to improve the way of life.

STEM

is the perfect track to choose if you are planning

to study Pure and Applied Sciences, Engineering
and Mathematics in college.

You

will be studying Biology, Chemistry, Physics and

Calculus in this strand. This is not for the faint-hearted.
