Admissions are done twice a year

No Application Fee

IELTS is required (No certificate of English Language

Fall semester starts in September and Spring semester

Admission results are announced almost two months

before the commencement of classes.

So Admission procedure starts even before that; exact

dates can be found in academic calendar of every
university.

GRE is not required by any university of Australia

however IELTS is required.

Criteria for Scholarship

MS or at least BS honors degree if you are planning to apply

for PhD.

Must have 1st class degree ( by first class mean you should
secure CGPA which categorize your grade as A+ or A).

Good to have one publication in any journal ( dont worry

about journals with impact factor, just focus to get a
publication in any online journal).

If you have BS honors then you have to justify why they

should consider you for PhD (for MS you dont have to worry
about).

Scholarship season starts from March (outcome in July or

August)and September (outcome in December) every year.

One candidate can apply to only one campus and only one
department at a time, so it is better to contact Professor

Professor and Lab Culture

Professor is All in All, is incharge of Laboratory and responsible for

ur research and degree. You dont have to worry about money as it
is managed by University.

When he thinks that you are done then nobody can stop him from
giving you doctorate/Masters degree. And if he is not satisfied
then no one can give you your degree.

He can make you leave after one year. Here in Australia if you get
PhD u have to pass Confirmation after one year. In confirmation
seminar you have to display you research and what you have done
in one year. Mainly you have to justify your external and school
that you are worthy enough to carry out ur PhD.

Lab is the second home of every post graduate student.

Most often student will be provided with a sitting place and

computer by the lab.

Usually student study Research papers and do their assignments at

their desks.

Professor Scholarship

Most of Professors in Australian Universities

gets fund form different sources for research.

From this fund Professors hire talented people

from different countries to work in their labs.

Professor usually manage to get tuition fee

scholarship for student from Uni and allow
Uni to give living allowance to student as per
Australian Standards (which mean ~2000 AUD
per month).

Students do research work; which helps

student for their thesis and professor to do
the projects assigned to him by different
industries etc.

In both of Scholarship you must have acceptance letter from

any university within Australia. For acceptance letter you
dont have to worry about contacting supervisor just go on
university website apply for admission and then they can
give you acceptance letter as soon as you meet their

Professors usually do not reply; but if they

reply positively it means they are
interested in taking you as a student.

according to his interest and send him.
